SPRINGFIELD – State Sen. Melinda Bush, D-Grayslake, announced that her office will begin serving constituents remotely and the district office will be temporarily closed starting March 16 in order to protect the public health and prevent the potential spread of coronavirus.
Bush’s staff will be working from home during normal business hours. Her office will continue to provide vital state services and will be re-evaluating risk levels weekly and hopes to resume in-person operations as soon as possible.
“Above all, I urge you not to panic,” Bush said. “The State of Illinois is prepared to handle the developing situation, and I’m confident our officials will do their best to keep citizens safe.”
Do not hesitate to contact her office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 847-548-5631. For general questions about COVID-19 and Illinois’ response and guidance, call 1-800-889-3931 or email DPH.SICK@ILLINOIS.GOV.
