There will be trail improvements in Tonti Canyon, the LaSalle Canyon Bridge Walk, Jacob’s Ladder, and the Pontiac Canyon Bluff Trail. It will included upgrading and replacing bridges, stairways, wooden boardwalks. The park will also get an electrical improvement to provide stronger services for RV’s. The water filtration system will also be upgraded and five new vault toilets will be installed. More money will be coming to make improvements at other parks including Matthiessen State Park, Illini State Park, and the I&M Canal.
