The City of Yorkville is looking for feedback on housing and opportunities in the city. There is a workshop called “Ageing in a Changing Region” on Wednesday from three to five at the Yorkville Public Library. The public is invited to attend.
The session is being put on by Brad Winick who is a consultant with the Chicago-based firm Planning/Aging.
Winick thinks that creating a community that supports senior residents involves more than just the city or one agency.
Snacks will be provided at the meeting. People can also participate online via Zoom by clicking here during the workshop.
There is also an online survey on ageing in Yorkville that can be found on the city’s web site.
