Illinois Public radio stations will carry a live Democratic candidates forum for the 17th Congressional District from 7-:7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 3.
You can listen live on 89.9 FM (WCBU in Peoria) or 90.3 FM (WVIK in the Quad-Cities). Also, it will be streamed live on the stations’ websites and can watch the video on WCBU’s Facebook. The forum will also be broadcast live or later on other public radio stations in the 17th District.
The forum will be held in room 126 of the Global Communications Center at Bradley University in Peoria. In-person attendance is limited to the first 100 people.

Cheri Bustos, the current representative, decided to not run again. The Illinois State Board of Elections lists six active democratic candidates. They are Angie Normoyle and Eric Sorensen of Moline, Jonathan Klarer Logemann and Litesa Wallace of Rockford, Jacqueline McGowan of Palos Hills, and Marsha Williams of Channahon.
The forum’s cosponsors and partners include public radio stations, local chapters of the League of Women Voters (including Kewanee Area), and chapters of the NAACP throughout the 17th District.
