Chicago still has 42 ‘L’ stations that aren’t accessible to the disabled. The federal infrastructure bill could help fix that sooner than expected.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth helped secure $1.75 billion in the $1 trillion infrastructure plan for accessible public transit, a move that could accelerate the CTA’s push to upgrade the 42 ‘L’ stations that aren’t fully accessible.
