Urbana, Champaign, Illinois-The University of Illinois system has announced that all students will need to be vaccinated or follow additional safety guidelines in the fall semester of 2021.

The site said it had no plans to require faculty and staff to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

The school stated that students who could not be vaccinated and / or who had not submitted and verified records should undergo a COVID-19 test and continue to wear masks.

Guidance on the school’s website states that students must submit a vaccination record card from the portal and check it before the fall semester begins.
