State Sen. Mike Halpin announced today that he has received the endorsement of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), representing more than 34,000 active and retired law enforcement members across Illinois.
The endorsement recognizes Sen. Halpin’s record of supporting law enforcement and working to strengthen public safety in communities in every part of the state, but especially in the 36th District.
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Illinois FOP,” said Sen. Halpin. “The men and women in law enforcement put themselves on the line every day to protect our families. I’ll continue being a fierce champion for our law enforcement community, making sure officers have the resources and tools they need to do their jobs safely.”
