Senator Joyce talks wins/losses in spring session

Last week our Rob West had a few minutes to sit down with 40th District State Senator Pat Joyce to talk about several issues facing the state. As part of the conversation we talked about what Senator Joyce saw as some of the wins and losses in the recently concluded spring legislative session. Joyce pointed to legislation he endorsed that increased the allowable size for some grain wagons in Illinois roadways and increased the number of rounds allowed in certain rifles used for deer hunting in the state. Senator Joyce also noted advancements have been made in road safety around in the area

Senator Joyce said there was some legislation he wasn’t able to get through during the spring session, a big one being the farm estate death tax
