With federal COVID-19 relief funds expiring, Illinois public transit faces a $771 million budget shortfall. To avert potential cuts to service, the Illinois Senate advanced a proposal providing reforms and funding needed to ensure safe, reliable, accessible, equitable and integrated services for Illinoisans.
