During Congress’ August recess, Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski, who represents the 13th distrcit in Illinois, has been back and forth across the district on a media tour. She gave her thoughts about a variety of issues on today’s program including the consequences of pending government food-aid and health care cuts and dissatisfaction among some Democratic voters with their elected leaders. Budzinski also responded to criticism from some constituents on her support for Israel as it’s war in Gaza has killed more than 60,000 Palestinians since October 7, 2023.
