Cannabis has been legal in Illinois for five years now. Meanwhile, intoxicating products made from hemp have developed a market of their own, and they don’t have to go through the same rules and requirements. 

The author of a report on hemp products sold in Illinois as well as the medical director of a substance use and prevention program  discuss why that is, what these products are, and where the debate on regulating them stands.
