SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — Health insurance companies will soon have to keep much better track of their provider directories.

If they fail to do it, the department will have much more power to punish the insurance companies.

Our Target 3 investigation team documented the effects of ghost networks in our Bottom Line series in 2022.
