Six area legislators recently attended the Grundy Economic Development Councils legislative breakfast.

They included Republican State Senators Sue Rezin and Tom Bennett along with Democrat Patrick Joyce as well as Republican State Representatives Jackie Haas, Jason Bunting and Jed Davis.

The majority of the time in Springfield, legislation is passed along party lines, however, Bennett and Joyce said there are times when lawmakers work together. 

Bunting said the majority of lawmakers want to work together, but others have different plans.
