CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WRSP) — It has been almost a year since State Senator, Scott Bennett passed away, and Senator Paul Faraci took over his seat in the State House.

Fox Illinois’ Marlena Lang sat down with Senator Faraci to discuss his first year as a State Senator, the legacy of the late Senator Bennett, the House Veto session that begins on November 7th and more. Senator Faraci was sworn into office in January of 2023 and his current term will end in January of 2025.
