After reading Ted Slowik’s column on Calumet City, it seems Mayor Thaddeus Jones and Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard are two peas in a pod. It seems they don’t want the public or the trustees or alderman to know what is going on and that they rule by if we want you to know we will tell you, but never question my authority. It seems Jones is hiding something. I would like to know what is he getting back from Republic Services or what is the quid pro quo? The way he acts seems like there is more to than meets the eye.

To Carl in Orland Park, many of us have known Dr. Anthony Fauci’s credentials for a long time, from the beginning. His credentials don’t make him ethical or honest. The credentials of Joe and Hunter Biden are classic examples of that. Have you heard of Christine Grady? She’s head of the Department of Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center, she monitors Dr. Fauci’s ethics. And Christine Grady is also follow Fauci’s wife. See how that works.

Strange, isn’t it, that within a year cable network AT&T DirecTV has unplugged two conservative news outlets, namely One America News and recently Newsmax. What’s going on with this blatant censoring like social media platforms? I haven’t seen them yank the two Comedy Central fake news channels, MSNBC and CNN, yet. Guess what AT&T, it’s time to shop around.

R. Kelly is already facing 30 years in federal prison. He’s not getting off of anything. He would serve his federal sentence first. Why waste taxpayer money on that, he is going away for a long time.

It may be found unconstitutional, but until it is heard in the courts no one should be surprised that some Illinois sheriffs will not enforce the assault weapons ban. Traffic laws, such as excessive speeding, running red lights or texting while driving, go unenforced every day. These, too, jeopardize our safety and yet there is little to no visible effort to change it. Gun crimes and crime in general continue to rise, but the desire by those who could curb these every day occurrences go unenforced, ignored or met with resistance under the guise of freedom.
