AURORA, Ill. – In response to the hospitalization of state Sen. Scott Bennett, state Rep. Barbara Hernandez, D-Aurora, released the following statement:

“My thoughts are with Senator Bennett and his family during this challenging time. He is a dedicated lawmaker whom I’ve had the privilege of working to pass many bills with. I’m sure I speak for many when I wish Scott a rapid recovery.”
