CHICAGO (CBS) — Today is chief justice Anne Burke’s last day on the Illinois Supreme Court.
Burke has served on the state’s highest court for more than 16 years.
She is the wife of outgoing Chicago Alderman Ed Burke, the longest-serving city council member in Chicago history, who is not seeking re-election.
