Pritzker, Durbin speak on ISU’s campus to endorse Chung, Koehler, encourage voting

Gov. JB Pritzker and senator Dick Durbin spoke at Schroeder Plaza on Illinois State University’s quad this afternoon to endorse Illinois state representative candidate Sharon Chung and state senator Dave Koehler and encourage young people to vote.

The candidates spoke about abortion rights, K-12 and higher education and about the importance of voting.

The event followed the groundbreaking at Ferrero North America’s, producer of the Kinder line of chocolate, new facility in Bloomington.

Pritzker was last on ISU’s campus in early October during a debate with Republican candidate Darren Bailey.
