I am writing to express my support of Mike Halpin for state senator.

Mike and I worked together in the congressional office of Lane Evans for many years. I spent a lot of time traveling with Mike and Lane to numerous events, including several Veterans Conventions. Lane was not only Mike’s mentor, he was his friend. Lane would be proud of the man and public servant Mike has become.

Mike and his staff provide excellent constituent service. They make sure those who contact their office receive the benefits they are entitled to under the existing law. When Mike finds someone who falls through the cracks, he works hard to correct the situation.

Mike’s record in the House shows his empathy and compassion for the disabled, working families, small business owners, and the veterans who served their country.

I am confident Mike will continue to work for all of us as state senator.
