Some Illinois schools are continuing to learn in person despite record-high COVID-19 cases. District 186 says they are not offering a hybrid approach because the state mandated all schools operate in-person and recommendations they got from our local health department. They say if a COVID-19 outbreak were to happen they would shut down a specific classroom or school but right now the plan is to return from Winter Break safely.
