The U. S. Department of Agriculture, USDA, on Friday announced an increase in funding for school meal reimbursements to help schools continue to feed children. An estimated $750 million more dollars will be put into school meal programs across the nation this year. The agency said the additional federal reimbursements keep pace with food and operational costs. Caption: KHQA. School lunch reimbursement rates usually do not increase during the school year.
