Schools with higher graduation rates spend less per student

Graduation rates at local high schools continue to be below pre-pandemic levels. Local schools that are spending less money per student have higher graduation rates. It’s a trend we’re seeing when looking at District 186, Ball-Chatham, Williamsville and Pleasant Plains school districts. Research and evaluation officer Dr. Brenda Dixon says the graduation rate remains stable for 2021 compared to 2019 and prior years.
