ALTON — Illinois Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton is scheduled to attend the 57th Annual John F. Kennedy Dinner hosted by the Madison County Democratic Party 3-6 p.m. at the Liberty Bank Amphitheater in Alton.
This year’s event is being held outdoors and will feature Democratic elected officials and candidates. The event will include entertainment and kid-friendly activities while following CDC and Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines. Proof of vaccination will not be required, but organizers are asking participants to wear a mask if they are not fully vaccinated.
This is the Madison County Democratic Party’s major fundraiser for the year. Tickets are $50 per person or $50 per couple. Buyers of the first 100 tickets also will receive a can koozie.
