A former Springfield school board member now has a seat on the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Board of Trustees.
Tiffany Mathis was appointed to the post last week by Governor JB Pritzker.
Mathis, who lost her bid for a full term on the school board in April, is the CEO and executive director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Illinois.
