Some Illinois lawmakers are looking to add information on traffic stop protocol to drivers ed classes in the state. If House Bill 3097 becomes law, the adult driver education course curriculum in Illinois would have to include lessons on police procedures and appropriate interactions with law enforcement during traffic stops. This would also be added to the Illinois State Board of Education’s curriculum.
