I-80 And I-39 Included In Campaign To Push Electric Vehicles

With the current hysteria about gas availability, maybe it’s not a bad idea to look at an electric vehicle.

The Illinois Department of Transportation plans to install new signs along Interstate’s 39 and 80 telling drivers where they can find charging stations for electric vehicles. It’s part of a nationwide effort to promote alternative fuels.

Peru has had charging stations at Hy-Vee for awhile now while city officials in La Salle have been talking about offering an electric vehicle charging option in their downtown.
