A Chicago alderman is entering the race for Illinois Secretary of State.
David Moore is at least the fifth candidate to announce plans to seek the open seat after incumbent Jesse White announced he would not seek re-election to the seat he’s held since 1999.
Moore says he has extensive experience in government management, and says he wants to build on White’s legacy of customer service.
