Illinois lawmakers want to crack down on underage vaping. A new Senate bill (SB555) aims to help prevent sales of electronic nicotine products at vape shops to those under the age of 21. The U. S. Food and Drug Administration estimates that nearly 20% of high schoolers nationwide used e-cigarettes in 2020. Caption: WICS. Right now, law enforcement across the state can use supervised minors to see if tobacco shops will sell to them.
