(Undated ) – The acting Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture says he is feeling good about the chances of having in-person State Fairs.
Jerry Costello says with vaccinations on the rise, the COVID numbers on the decline, and the dates of the fairs, he is feeling confident.
Costello says fairs will be a great way for many to feel a sense of “normalcy.” Both state fairs were canceled last summer due to the pandemic.
