As 2020 comes to a close, several new state laws are poised to take effect Jan. 1, 2021. House Bill 667 will put a cap on consumer out-of-pocket insulin costs for many in-state insurance providers. It was drafted by Senator Andy Manar. Another law that will take effect on the first will allow survivors of domestic violence to conceal their personal information from their abusers.
