Illinois lawmakers are working on their agendas for the spring legislative session, though the scope and length of the next session have yet to be announced. But there is plenty of demand for legislation to address Illinois’ most pressing problems — from the pandemic, to clean energy, ethics reform, and racial justice.
To discuss these issues further, The 21st was joined by State Senator Robert Peters, who was recently elected chair of the Illinois Senate Black Caucus.
