The Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs issued an update on COVID-19 cases at the Illinois Veterans’ Home in Quincy Monday.

In a letter to residents, families and staff, Administrator Tony Culbertson reported four additional cases of coronavirus at the vets’ home.

A total of ten residents and five staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.

Culbertson said his agency is following recommendations from state and local health officials to safeguard everyone at the Illinois Veterans’ Home.
