City Council passes ordinance aimed at protecting senior building residents

The ordinance will take effect Aug. 1, applying to all rental buildings with 24 or more units that house tenants 55 and older. The guidelines are required during any public health emergencies declared by the governor, mayor or county president, including COVID-19.
