CHICAGO (CBS) — There’s a new boss at that troubled IDES office.

Kristin Richards is in.

She’s currently the chief of staff to Illinois Senate President Don Harmon.

Richards replaces Thomas Chan at the Illinois Department of Employment Security, who never answered questions from CBS 2 on behalf of the unemployed in Illinois, many who are still waiting for their benefits to kick in.
