ILLINOIS (WCIA) — The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 546 new COVID-19 cases in the state, including 87 additional deaths.

Officials said there are currently a total of 134,185 virus cases across 101 Illinois counties, including 6,485 deaths. Within the past 24 hours, laboratories have reported 29,987 specimens for a total of 1,258,328.
