ORLAND PARK, IL — Demonstrations over the death of George Floyd have begun in Orland Park on Sunday, village officials have confirmed. Events similar to others that have occurred across the country in recent days were going on near Orland Square Mall and 159th and La Grange, the village posted on social media.
Orland Park police have responded.
Officials are asking people to avoid both areas.
