Dani Brzozowski, Democratic nominee for Congress in the district that includes La Salle and Bureau counties, will hold a virtual "town hall" at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12 on her campaign Facebook page.

The event is open to the public.

“For almost a decade, this district has been represented by someone who refuses to listen to his constituents.” Brzozowski stated. “(Incumbent) Adam Kinzinger has not held a town hall in over two years, and even before that he rarely held them. That’s a little shocking, considering that when he first ran for Congress in 2010 he consistently brought up that his opponent rarely did town halls. This district deserves representation that will actually listen to them. I am excited to make sure the voters of the 16th district feel heard.”

Brzozowski is the former small business owner of Sweet Sadie’s Playspace in La Salle, with a career in nonprofit management and development, and serves as the chair of the La Salle County Democrats. She lives in La Salle. Dani grew up in a military family and is a graduate of La Salle-Peru High School and Purdue University.
