The very first thing I’m going to tell you is the only thing that really matters: Arthur Jones is the Republican candidate the for the 3rd Congressional District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, and he is hoping that you won’t learn that he’s an avowed Nazi, Holocaust-denier, and proud white supremacist before you cast your vote this year. We have to work together to prevent him from getting votes.

It is an undisputed fact that Arthur Jones is a former leader of both the American Nazi Party and the pro-white nationalist America First Committee. Both are hate groups identified by the Anti-Defamation League. Just Google search “Art Jones” and you’ll see for yourself that he’s appalling and vile.

Certainly, Art Jones will lose the upcoming election. But resting on this kind of assumption only hands Jones a passive loss, and that is exactly how hate group candidates like Jones start to become normalized participants in our elections. It’s not enough that Art Jones lose this election simply because he received fewer votes than the winner. It is important that we send the following clear and strong message to these racist, hate-mongering candidates: Good people are paying attention to who is on our ballots, and extremist candidates will not be allowed the satisfaction of receiving votes in American elections. It is for us to show the country that even though we are politically divided, we can still unify against evil men like Art Jones.

Want to fight Nazism and help make sure Jones gets as few votes as possible? Here’s how: First, make sure you vote. Second, don’t vote for Arthur Jones. Third, contact your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors and tell them not to vote for Arthur Jones. It is especially important to reach out to voters who usually vote for only Republican candidates, because they might vote for Jones not knowing he’s a Nazi. Encourage the people you reach to look into other candidates for this seat – or leave this race blank if they don’t like the other choices. It takes just a minute or two to send a group text or email, make a phone call or post to social media to prevent people you know from voting for Nazi Art Jones.

From now until Election Day, it’s up to us to spread the word about Art Jones by telling people that he is a Nazi and should not receive any votes. Please do the American thing, fight back against hatred, and help stop Art Jones from getting votes this year. By preventing Jones from getting as many votes as possible, we offer proof that Americans can still rise together to defeat these extremist candidates when they slither onto our ballots seeking elected office.
