Chicago, IL — Sen. Bill Cunningham (18th District) and Rep. Fran Hurley (35th District) will partner with the Illinois Department of Employment Security for a hiring fair at St. Christina School, 3333 W. 110th St., Chicago, on July 20.

The fair is open to the public and will run from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. The first hour is set aside for veterans, with doors opening to all community members at 10 a.m.

Job-seekers will have the chance to meet with potential employers who have openings available.

The July 12, 2016, event is expected to be even bigger than last year’s record-setting day of deals.

“My office is always working to connect job seekers with employment opportunities,” Cunningham said. “Anyone who is looking for a job should join us and meet the over 70 employers we will have in Mount Greenwood.”

For more information contact the state lawmakers’ district office at 773-445-8128.

Cunningham represents portions of Worth, Orland and Palos Townships in the southwest suburbs, and the neighborhoods of Mt. Greenwood, Beverly, Morgan Park and Auburn-Gresham.
