(Chicago, IL)  —  Illinois is still a great place to shoot a movie.  Governor Pritzker announced that 2024 was another historic year for film and TV production in Illinois.

Officials believe the high expenditures demonstrate Illinois’ ability to bounce back following strikes that halted production in 2023.  They credit the state’s competitive film tax credit and training program for continuing to attract award-winning productions to the state.
