As Hispanic Heritage Month ended, Governor JB Pritzker visited the Southwest Side last week to stop by some of the city’s Latino-owned small businesses. One of them was Teatro Tariakuri, 3117 W. 63rd St. He also said hello at Chicago Heat Pet Shop, 4145 W. 63rd St., and New Star Lighting, 2225 W. Pershing. “Whether it’s a theatre company, pet supply shop or manufacturing center, we’re celebrating the contributions they make and ensuring they thrive in Illinois,” the governor said. – Supplied photo
