(Undated) – Those that have faced problems making their house payment due to the pandemic can now apply for help from the State of Illinois. The Illinois Housing Development will begin accepting applications in April through the Illinois Emergency Homeowner Assistance Fund program. The program will provide up to 30-thousand-dollars in free assistance per homeowner. The funds will be used to prevent mortgage delinquencies, defaults, and foreclosures.
