SmartAsset says LaSalle County is the second best county in Illinois to be a small business owner. The study considered things like the percentage of people with small business income and how much the small business owners pay in taxes. It also looked at how much small business income they generate. The information came from IRS data from tax returns. Ogle County is slightly higher in the ranking for first place.
