Governor JB Pritzker is currently overseas touting Illinois’ clean energy bill, but that didn’t stop him from signing controversial changes to the Health Care Right of Conscience Act into law this week. That’s the law meant to protect healthcare workers from giving or receiving treatment they don’t agree with, but some Illinoisans are using the act to skirt COVID-19 vaccinations and testing.
