A local Democratic candidate for Congress is lining up endorsements for her plan to challenge GOP incumbent Rodney Davis.
Labor activist Nikki Budzinski is getting the backing of Illinois Democratic Congresswomen Cheri Bustos and Jan Schakowsky.
Budzinski announced last month that she plans to run against Davis in the 13th Congressional District, even though district lines have not yet been drawn and Davis has not yet confirmed his political plans for next year.
