(WSIL) — The Office of the Lt. Governor is partnering with the Central Illinois Food Bank to collect select food and nonperishable items at the Du Quoin State Fair.

"Right this second, people are going hungry in Illinois, and some are utilizing food banks for the first time. This food drive is one way state fairgoers can help get food to the people who need it the most.", said Lt. Governor Stratton

Donations will be accepted from 3pm-7pm on weekdays and from noon-6pm on weekends at the LG tent.
