Governor JB Pritzker taking action a bill that would improve health programs for soon-to-mothers and children in Illinois. The Governor issued an amendatory veto on SB 967, in order to correct a technical error in a section of the legislation which would cause conflicts with the implementation timeline. However, Pritzker has said he will certify the bill once the correction is passed by the General Assembly.
