State Rep Candidates Speak on Mental Health at Forum

The topic of mental health was discussed at the Kendall-Grundy Farm Bureau Meet the Candidates last week.

State and local candidates were at the event explaining why they should be elected in the upcoming November 3rd General Election.

Farm Bureau Board President Scott Halpin asked this question.

79th District Democratic State Representative Candidate Charlene Eads gave her reply.

Republican Candidate Jackie Haas had this to say.

The winner will take over for current Republican State Representative Lindsay Parkhurst, who announced she would not be seeking another term.

The 79th District covers a portion of southern Grundy County, Kankakee County and others.
