Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, most people have been spending more time at home. The extra time inside can lead to higher levels of energy consumption. That’s why Ameren Illinois and the University of Illinois Extension are partnering to provide consumers with tips on how they can reduce their energy consumption and save money.

 

The event is titled “Energy Efficiency 101” and is scheduled for Monday June 22, on the webinar hosting site, Webex. The event is slated to feature speakers from both Ameren Illinois and the U of I Extension.

 

The Big Z Spoke with Ameren Illinois Director of Energy Efficiency, Strategy, and Innovation, Kristol Simms, who says the goal of the webinar is to drill down the energy saving programs currently offered by Ameren Illinois.
