In a recent press release and interview with the Big Z, Illinois Republican and ranking member of the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit, Rodney Davis spoke about the Surface Transportation bill and about his displeasure in making the bill a partisan issue.

Davis went on to mention his belief in the importance of infrastructure and why he believes partisanship matters, saying it would allow for a jumpstart of the economy at the federal level by spending gas tax dollars to ensure the money gets back to the states.
